The Quick WoR Update
Everyone is back to work. Right now, most of the Bottled Starlight team is trying to get the Chapter 2 update out the door (more on that later) so right now, it’s Inky working through some things. You may have seen on the KS posts (if you’re a backer) that she has started on some of the upper tier rewards. Let’s take a look!
There’s about 30 of these to work through. Koops has to help finish up some Ch2 stuff and then will be able to help Inky get them done. We’ve also been concepting out some of the characters who didn’t appear in the prototype.
Hopefully there’s exactly enough here to tease you. Not a big update this time, next one should be meatier.
The Chapter 2 Work
I am almost done cleaning up the many bugs that have been reported by the testers. Trello doesn’t have a function to count cards but I think it’s over 100 bugfixes. Some of them are “this bookshelf is missing collisions” and some are “hey this thing happens that will take 2 hours to track down” so we’re on track. I should have the remaining bugs sorted out this week.
Once the bugs are taken care of, I need to write the journal entries, add some more NPCs (some areas are only populated by exactly enough NPCs to do the quests), add some more topics to existing characters… and then we’re ready to go.
